Do you have an odor you can't get rid of and worry it may be mold?
We can help. With our four seasons and so many mature trees, we get a lot of issues with sunroofs and leaks caused by clogged sunroof drains. Heavy summer storms, winter snows, prolonged seasons and other factors all come into play. Let us do a quick inspection and see if your carpets are wet and what the situation is. Can I just have the carpets shampooed and fix the problem?
No, unfortunately this will not solve anything. If water is trapped below the carpet, on the floorboard and in the padding of the car, you can't shampoo or extract the carpets to remove moisture. The only way is to lift the carpet and take everything apart. This is a complicated, multi-step process that takes many days to complete and involves cleaning and sanitizing the capets, padding and floorboards, it's not a one day cleaning job.
Can I bring my vehicle to you if I live out of the area?
Yes. If you live out of state, we can help assist with arrangements for your vehicle to be transported to us via car transport carrier, we can make arrangements ahead of time for payment and paperwork.
Do you work with insurance companies or dealerships?
We will gladly work with your insurance company and discuss your situation, We can assist in the claim process as much as possible and work alongside you and your agent in the process. We work off of our estimates and processes, not what the insurance companies estimates, so we will need to get that worked out before the job is started, you are our client, not them. We will also work with any dealership to assist in the remediation process. Just contact us and we will get the process started and we'll get your vehicle back on the road before you know it.
How can I schedule my car for an inspection & estimate?
Just email, text or call and we will set up a time for the inspection and the rest is easy. You'll be glad you did. We can even do estimates by email or text.
Do you work to find the leaks or find the cause of the intrusions?
No, we are not mechanics, we're specialists in what we do and we let other specialist do their thing, we also believe the two services should be done by seperate companies, there is a conflict when a remediation company also does the repair in our opinion. We can do our remediation and work either before or after the repair work. Typically it's best for us to be the final step in the remediation phase, but there are times when the mechanical shop won't work on a vehicle that has a lot of mold or water. We understand that and that's where we come in, we're here to help. Let's talk and figure out the best path to take and we can start the process. We can make some repair shop recommendations if you need a quality referral.
Will the carpet and pad dry on their own?
No, the moisture will not go away on its own in any reasonable(months or sometimes years) amount of time. Don't risk mold, rust or electrical problems by ignoring moisture under your carpets, it's trapped down there. Without air movement, it can't evaporate and you are asking for major problems. How much does this cost?
The only way to accurately estimate a job of this size is to see the car. We understand this is not always possible, we can give estimates through email or text, but they are finalized once we see the vehicle in person. These jobs can cost between $1450-2200, if mold is present, it will be higher. We typically need the car for 4-6 days to complete the work.
